the speed of those trains that run on conventional lines.
In areas where rail lines curve, the speed of a train can
be increased by tilting the wheels toward the inside similar
to a motorcycle. "R Guide" realizes this mechanism
by forcibly and smoothly tilting and supporting the wheels.
"R Guide" is used on the "Super Aozora"
train which operates between Sapporo and Kushiro and the "Shinano"
train which operates between Nagoya and Nagano. This technology
brings about not just speed improvement between these cities
but also immeasurable economic benefits. THK's outstanding
