In recent years, ramps for wheelchair access have become standard at commercial buildings and facilities. However, if the slope is relatively long for a small difference in height, these ramps can be inconvenient for caregivers.
Because this wheelchair has four retractable lift arms in addition to their wheels, it can be used to go up steps directly. THK's Ball Screw Model BTK and Slide Rail FBL are used in the lift arm section.
