High Speed Ball Screw according to ISO 3408-2:2021(E), Series 1 with Caged Ball Technology

The ball screw type SDA-V according to ISO 3408-2:2021(E), Series 1 combines two major advantages in its compact nut: The optimized ball circulation system and the Caged Ball technology guarantee a high speed up to 5000 min-1 (DN value: 160,000). Even a variation of this type without ball cage allows a DN value up to 130,000. Both types of ball screw SDA thus are suitable for high-speed operation.

Through the use of the caged ball technology the friction between the balls is eliminated and grease reservoirs are formed between the balls. This allows for long service life, a long-term maintenance-free operation. In addition, the Caged Ball technology prevents the mutual collision of the balls to each other and thus reduces the noise emission by 5 dB(A) compared to conventional ball screws.

The compact DIN nut has up to 30% less outside diameter and therefore much less mass and weight.

The ball screw SDA-V is available with shaft diameters of 10 - 50 mm and with lead of 4 - 100 mm. Download catalog PDF
