What temperature elevation measures are effective?
Make the screw shaft of the Ball Screw hollow and circulate coolant through the hollow portion to prevent heat generation. Also, decrease the rotational speed by using a large lead Ball Screw or set the Ball Screw and support bearing preload as low as possible. AFG grease, which prevents heat generation when the Ball Screw is used at high speeds and has excellent lubricating properties, is recommended.
In order to avoid temperature elevation due to heat generation, set a negative cumulative lead target value for the Ball Screw and apply a pretension to the screw shaft.
