The critical speed of the nut does not constitute a matter of concern for the Rotary Nut Ball Screw because the natural frequency of the nut is far higher than that of the screw shaft. However, the resonance of the shaft may be caused by the rotation of the nut. Therefore, the critical speed of the shaft needs to be considered for both the shaft rotation and nut rotation.
