The Rod End is a self-aligning plain bearing using a spherical inner ring provided with the same level of accuracy and hardness as the steel balls for a bearing. The combination of a spherical inner ring having a mirror finished sliding surface and a rational holder provides very smooth rotation and rocking motion without any play.
