Some LM Guides uses a ball, while others use a roller. What are the differences in performance (positioning accuracy, repeated positioning accuracy, rigidity, service life, etc.)?
They have almost the same performance in terms of positioning accuracy, however, Roller Guides demonstrate higher values in terms of rigidity. Ball Guides are often more advantageous in terms of service life due to the difference in absorbability of misalignment.
