The LM Stroke is a high-precision linear motion system with a very small friction coefficient that can achieve rotary motion, reciprocating motion, and combined motion using rolling elements. A cage and balls are built into the precision ground, cylindrical nut. A staggered ball arrangement is adopted so that the load can be evenly distributed. Lightweight, high-rigidity machined cages made of light alloy are used so that the LM Stroke can fully follow high-speed motion. A thrust ring and a snap ring are attached to both sides of the inner diameter of the nut to prevent the cage from overrunning.
