Is it possible to install the slide rail vertically for use as an elevation guide.
When the slide rail is installed vertically for use as an elevation guide, the ball cage inside might drop and cause positional deviation. If positional deviation is caused by the ball cage, slipping will occur between the ball and rail during stroke motion, which will in turn cause action to become very heavy. So, basically, slide rails are not suited to vertical use. When a vertical specification is required, use the LM Guide.
