What are the features of Type CFN (Thrust Ball Type Cam Follower)?
A slight installation error of cam mechanism used under a high speed and severe conditions causes thrust loads and makes the side plate of the cam follower and the edge of the outer ring slide in strong contact with each other, resulting in abnormal wear. In this case, the use of type CFN produces an effect to reduce wear because it provides ball rolling contact instead of sliding contact.
