THK CO., LTD. (Location: Minato, Tokyo; President: Takashi Teramachi; hereinafter referred to as “THK”) opened a new THK India Sri City Distribution Center on November 17.
To expand sales in India as part of our strategy of establishing an integrated sales and production structure in areas of demand, THK previously established the India Private Limited Sri City plant in the Sri City Industrial Park in November 2021 to serve as THK India's manufacturing facility. Now, we have set up the Sri City Distribution Center inside that factory to strengthen our exporting capabilities and enhance the efficiency of our internal logistics as we ramp up production. This distribution center will work in tandem with Nippon Express (India) Private Limited to manage operations and handle internal logistics.

At the opening ceremony, President Takashi Teramachi spoke on the role of the new facility and future plans: “They say the 21^st century will be the ‘Indian Century.’ As the continuous surge in the economy and the ‘Make in India’ program spur what we anticipate will be increased market expansion, THK India will play a critical role in the THK Group's growth initiatives. The location of this distribution center is also advantageous for its use as an export hub that we can capitalize on to reach Europe, Southeast Asia, and the growing African market and for ensuring the efficiency of those operations." 

At THK, we will continue to contribute to society by constructing a framework for stable product distribution and providing our customers around the world with smooth delivery service.
