The Model KR achieves high rigidity and high precision in minimal space thanks to the highly rigid U-shaped cross-section of its outer rails, LM Guide units on both sides, and an inner block with an integrated ball screw in the center. In addition, since the housings (bearings) serve as support units and the inner block serves as a table, this model allows for a significant reduction in labor hours required for design and assembly, thereby contributing to an overall lower cost.

Now, THK is expanding this product line even further by offering 5 mm and 15 mm ball screw leads for the Model KR26.
While the Model KR already sees extensive use in a wide variety of fields ranging from machine tools to the automotive, medical, and food industries, these new options will allow us to satisfy an even wider range of customer needs.
