Cross-Roller Guide Lineup Expanded with New Center Rail Type

The lightly moving cross-roller guide is a finite stroke linear guide composed of precision rollers held in an orthogonal orientation by a cage that is assembled onto a dedicated rail. This product achieves accurate motion and maintains cage alignment through the use of THK's proprietary rack and pinion system. It is suited for use in semiconductor and other electronic component manufacturing equipment as well as optical measuring instruments, and a high level of demand is expected in fields even beyond traditional OA equipment and peripheral devices.

The standard type allows customers to freely design how far apart each rail is installed, and this type has been the main focus up to now. However, we have now added a new center rail type* that simplifies installation and keeps equipment compact. Compared to the current Model VR, this product has more rollers, drastically improved basic load rating and rigidity, and a longer service life.
* The center rail type combines the two inner rails of the standard type into one.

To meet a wide range of needs, we will significantly expand our cross-roller guide lineup with a diverse array of models for both our standard and center rail types.
