The Curvilinear Wheel Guide is a guide device that combines straight and curved elements to allow for the flexible construction of transfer paths. Its wheels use a rolling mechanism with a unique contact structure designed to provide smooth motion, and its carriages come in two varieties: a fixed-curvature type for rectilinear and oval-shaped paths and a multi-curvature type for paths that contain more complex curve patterns like S-curves.

Recent advances in the efficiency of machines used to produce food, medicine, and cosmetics have driven increasing demand for high-speed carousel-style transfer systems that enable continuous production. When used as the transfer system for equipment like packaging and bottle filling machines, the Curvilinear Wheel Guide can help elevate the performance these machines are capable of. The simple construction of the fixed-curvature type carriage, whose wheels are attached directly to its upper plate, provides a low-profile transfer surface, while the cross-roller ring used as a rotor for the multi-curvature type provides it with a compact mechanism for following the contours of the rail that defines its path.
