Cam Follower Model CFS-A and Roller Follower Model NART Product Lines Expanded with New Miniature Models and Outer Ring Variations

THK CO., LTD. (Location: Minato, Tokyo; President: Takashi Teramachi; hereinafter referred to as “THK”) has expanded its lineup of Model CFS-A cam followers and Model NART roller followers.

Cam followers are compact and highly rigid bearings that contain needle rollers and include attached shafts. They are used as guide rollers for cam mechanisms and for providing linear motion. The compact design of the Model CFS-A incorporates very fine needle rollers and features an outer ring external diameter that is extremely small relative to the stud diameter.

Roller followers are compact and highly rigid bearing systems that contain needle bearings. They are used as guide rollers for cam discs and linear motion. The Model NART is a non-separable bearing system whose inner ring is fixed to the side plates.

The Model CFS-A lineup has been expanded to include options with stud diameters of ⌀1.4 and ⌀2 as well as spherical outer rings for products with diameters of ⌀2 to ⌀6. For the Model NART, a cylindrical outer ring is now available for all sizes (⌀5 to ⌀50).
Expanding the number of model variations we provide enables us to respond to an ever-wider range of customer needs for machines that are more compact and that can handle heavier loads.
