What is the GLM's magnetic pole sensor?
What are the benefits of adding it as an option?
The magnetic pole sensor is a sensor with three built-in Hall sensors that correspond to the U, V, and W phases of the coil.
When using a magnetic pole sensor to detect magnetic poles, it is possible to detect them without moving the slider.
We recommend using a magnetic pole sensor when the slider is restrained, an external force is applied, or the center of gravity of the load is far from the thrust position.
If a magnetic pole sensor is not used, the automatic magnetic pole detection function will detect the magnetic pole.
When it does, the slider will oscillate left and right by a few centimeters for several seconds.
As a result, if the device is under a load and the servo is turned on while using the automatic magnetic pole detection function, the magnetic pole detection may fail.
