For the GLM, is the encoder's Z phase synchronized with the A and B phases?
For the optical linear encoder Renishaw QUANTiC series Q4BC, when both the A and B phases are high, the Z phase is output for 1/4 of a cycle.
For the optical linear encoder HEIDENHAIN LIDA 277, when both the A and B phases are high, the Z phase is output for 1/4 of a cycle.
For the magnetic linear encoder Magnescale PL25, you can select "1/4Z mode," which outputs 1/4 of a cycle; or "Z mode," which outputs a full cycle.
In "1/4Z mode," the Z phase is output for 1/4 of a cycle while both the A and B phases are high.
In "Z mode," the Z phase is output for one cycle, synchronized with the rising edge of the A phase.
