- Is there a way to prevent debris from accumulating in the LM rail mounting holes?
- If chips or foreign matter accumulate in the rail mounting holes of an LM Guide, they may make their way inside the LM block.
To prevent the intrusion of foreign materials, we recommend using dedicated CV caps, C caps, or GC caps in the LM rail mounting holes or inner seals attached to the inside of the blocks.
Also, for some model families, we offer Steel Tape Model SP and Plate Cover Model SV to cover the top surface of the rail as well as tapped-hole rails that do not have mounting holes on the top surface.
