What are the differences between the features of each model?
LM Guide models are categorized into roughly two types: the four-way equal load type—which has the same load rating in the radial, reverse-radial, and lateral directions—and the radial type, which has a large load rating in the radial direction.
The four-way equal load type can be used in various mounting orientations.
The radial type is suited to operating conditions where a compressive load is applied perpendicular to the LM Guide.
There are two types of rolling elements: balls and rollers.
Roller guides are used in conditions where particularly high rigidity is required.
