Are there any precautions to follow when using the R Guide Model HCR?
Basically, attention must be paid to the following points since the structure of the model HCR is different from regular linear guides. - Since the model HCR must be accurately installed on the base in an R shape, we recommend adopting a method of providing a butt on the reference surface side (inner side) of the LM Rail and pressing against the LM Rail by a retainer plate, for example, from the opposite reference surface side so that the LM Rail is pressed against that butt surface. - The basic structure of the model HCR is that of the Model HSR, but is not provided with a retainer plate. For this reason, attention is required since the ball will fall when the block is drawn out of from the rail. - Since the model HCR performs cylindrical motion, it is often subject to lateral load by centrifugal force during operation. For this reason, we recommend the measure of providing a push screw and shoulder butt at the rail joint to prevent a difference in level from occurring. Contact THK for details.
