I would like to extend the stroke of an LM Guide I am using. Can I attach additional LM rails?
It is not possible to extend an LM Guide by adding rails.
LM rails that are intended for joined use are manufactured with close attention to groove position.
Purchasing and attaching a separate rail later can cause a step in the groove where the two rails connect, and this may damage the product.
