The Pick and Place Robot PPR is an all-in-one robot for electronic component assembly. It combines the drive elements, sensors, electric solenoid valves, and control modules necessary to perform a series of movements that picks up electronic components (workpieces) via suction, moves them to a predetermined position, and sets them in place.
Many electronic component manufacturers have struggled with handling the diminishing size of parts, and the PPR offers a productivity-boosting solution that reduces both cycle times and damage caused to workpieces by contact with equipment.
In addition, the visualization of force, flow rate, pressure, and temperature sensor data assists with identifying root causes of problems and stabilizing quality.
