 THK  has expanded its lineup of the Precision Ball Screw with Finished Shaft Ends Model SDA-VZ.

 Precision Ball Screw with Finished Shaft Ends Model SDA-VZ is a precision ball screw with a screw shaft that has its end shape standardized to fit the corresponding support unit. The pre-machined shaft ends allow it to be shipped quickly, and it contributes to both higher machine performance and a smaller machine footprint thanks to its high speed and compact structure.

 Previously, 151 different types (with screw shaft diameters ranging from ⌀10 to ⌀25) were available. With the 79 that were added (with screw shaft diameters of ⌀15 and ⌀20), the lineup now boasts a total of 230 varieties. The ⌀15 and ⌀20 shafts were originally available only for the compact type, but now standard ISO/DIN-compliant models can also come in these sizes, which will meet even more customers’ needs.
