CT scanners
THK's LM Guides are used in the body motion section of CT scanners and X-ray machines that can penetrate patients' head or body to provide precise data to medical staff for making accurate diagnosis. In addition to their normal functions, our LM Guides provide smooth, quiet operation that can help the patient feel more at ease during this ordeal.
Platform doors
In Japan and other countries, platform doors are installed in many new rail transportation systems and subway stations. Major labour savings from automatic operation ( without platform staff ) are achieved by the use of these doors which also provide passenger safety.
