THK Commits to Earning SBT Certification

THK CO., LTD. (Location: Minato, Tokyo; President: Takashi Teramachi) is aiming to become certified in Science Based Targets (SBT 1), which are targets for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in accordance with standards set by the Paris Agreement, and we have submitted this commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi 2).

The THK Group considers climate change to be the greatest sustainability challenge (material issue) we must address. In addition to reducing GHG emissions from our own business activities, we are working to curb emissions throughout our supply chain as we strive toward the creation of a carbon-neutral society.
