How can I reduce the sliding resistance of an LM Guide?
The following measures can be taken to reduce sliding resistance.

Seals
- Consider using an LM block without seals. In addition, end seals (LL seals) with low sealing resistance are available for some models.

Clearance
- Since sliding resistance increases with greater preload, to reduce sliding resistance, consider a clearance with a smaller preload.

Grease
- Consider selecting a grease with low viscous resistance or using oil lubrication.

We also offer the Model EPF, which has a finite stroke, low sliding resistance, and does not circulate balls.
