Below are frequently asked questions concerning member registration and use of THK Online Services.

Using the services

Q

Can I use the services even if I’m not affiliated with a company or organization?

A

An organization domain email address is required to register. (See Terms of Service.) Please contact marketing@thk.com if your organization does not have a domain email address.

I use a shared department email address. Is it possible to set up multiple user IDS using a single email address?

A

Each email address can only be registered as one User ID.

Q

Are there any fees for using the services?

A

All services are free for both Full Members and Online Store Members. No payment information is required to register.

Q

I’m a student. Can I use your services?

A

Yes, students can use our services. Please register using your school email address.

Q

How do you handle personal information?

A

Please see the THK Online Services Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Membership registration/Logging in

What should I do if I forget my password?

A

Please reset your password by clicking “Forgot your password?” on the login screen.

Q

Can a Online Store Member account be changed into a Full Member account?

A

You can upgrade your membership by registering as Full Member if you are already registered as Online Store Member with a organization domain email. Please contact marketing@thk.com if you are registered as Online Store Member with your personal email.

How do I change my member information?

A

You can change member information on the Change Member Information page.

Can I use an e-mail address without an organization domain?

A

An organization domain email address is required to register. (See Terms of Service.) Please contact marketing@thk.com if your organization does not have a domain email address.

Problems with registration

What should I do if my password isn’t working?

A

If you’re unable to log in, try the following:

1. Forgot your password? Click “Forgot your password?” on the login screen to reset it.
2. Password not recognized? Your browser may be auto-correcting or formatting your password. Try typing it manually one character at a time, or paste it into Notepad first to remove any hidden formatting before entering it.

What should I do if I didn’t receive my confirmation code after registring?

A

If you didn’t receive your confirmation code, check the following:
・Your email address may have been entered incorrectly or the two entries didn’t match.
・The email may have been filtered into your spam or Promotions (Gmail) folder.
・Your security software may have blocked the email.
If none of the above apply, contact your IT administrator for assistance.
