Renewable energy

In recent years, global warming caused by emissions of greenhouse gases, such as CO₂, has become a problem. Reports of fluctuations in climate conditions across the world, including instances of heavy rainfall, flooding, and droughts, are considered to be tied to global warming, and the need to utilize renewable energy as part of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions has become a matter of some urgency. Renewable energy is energy that does not emit greenhouse gases, and it can be produced domestically with a low-carbon impact. This includes sources such as wind and solar power.
THK has developed the Model WLS Low-Torque Shaft Unit for Vertical-Axis Wind Turbines with the required strength, durability, and high safety standards to meet the IEC 61400-2 international safety standard and the JSWTA 0001 Japanese safety standard.
