Shareholders and Investors
Our Philosophy
THK engages in IR activities in an effort to disclose information in a manner that is fair, impartial, expedient, accurate, and easy to understand. We strive to provide more thorough and valuable information through events such as financial results briefings and IR meetings, the investor relations section of our website, and the Integrated Report.
In the 2025 fiscal year, we announced specific initiatives for our new management policy of achieving an ROE greater than 10% as quickly as possible, underscoring their feasibility and progression.
IR Activities
In an aim to have open meetings where more shareholders can participate, THK holds its General Meeting of Shareholders in mid-March to avoid having it overlap with multiple such meetings typically held concurrently by other companies. A social event was held after the 2025 meeting to promote shareholder knowledge of our business.
In addition, an IR Department established directly beneath the President’s Office serves to reduce management risks and strengthen the dialogue between THK and capital markets. As a specific example of their efforts, in addition to having the president and CFO present the company’s results and strategy at a semiannual financial results briefing, THK has made a routine practice of having those executives visit institutional investors outside of Japan since 2000.
THK will continue striving to be a company that is evaluated highly on a global stage through its various IR activities.
Constructive Dialogue with Shareholders and Investors
THK strives to enhance dialogue with shareholders and investors through its IR activities and to increase corporate value by leveraging what those conversations bring to light. The perspectives we receive this way are shared widely among management and related departments and contribute to improvements to our management and IR activities.
We also strive for thorough information disclosure and dialogue to keep our investors well-informed of the feasibility of our new management policy of achieving an ROE greater than 10% as quickly as possible and our medium to long-term plans for increasing corporate value beyond the achievement of this goal.
