This dedicated helpline for officers and employees was established as a resource for helping to resolve such cases. | This helpline is available to stakeholders as a means of reporting behavior within the THK Group that has a significantly negative impact on human rights. |
Human Rights Due Diligence
Each Group company conducts an annual human rights due diligence process.
In 2025, this process identified the following five areas where there is a high risk of
human rights violations within our business activities.
THK Group Human Rights Handbook
In response to these risks, we will continue to conduct internal training (seminars and e-learning courses) for mitigating and preventing human rights violations for Group companies (mainly in Japan, the United States, Germany, France, Ireland, China, South Korea, Vietnam, and India), perform regular monitoring, and maintain our reporting structure. Through these initiatives, we will continue to strive for early detection of and response to such risks.
At the same time, we continue to promote human rights awareness within our supply chain (mainly in Japan, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Austria, Spain, Slovenia, Poland, Türkiye, China, South Korea, Vietnam, and India), such as by distributing the THK Group Supplier CSR Procurement Guidelines and the THK Group Human Rights Handbook to our main suppliers. THK’s human rights due diligence process did not identify any human rights violations within our supply chain in 2025.
Statement on Modern Slavery Acts
In accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act and similar acts in other countries, the THK Group has released a statement to report on its response and the current state of affairs throughout the Group.

Responsible Mineral Procurement
Responsible Mineral Procurement Policy
The THK Group promotes transparency in our supply chain in full recognition of our responsibilities related to our procurement of tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold, cobalt, and other minerals that are sourced in conflict-affected and/or high-risk areas and that may contribute to conflict, human rights abuses, and/or social destabilization.
As part of our efforts, we conduct audits of our mineral procurement in accordance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (published by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development).
If human rights violations or other social problems are discovered as a result of these audits, we take measures to avoid further use.
The THK Group will also require that its suppliers work toward responsible mineral procurement by securing their cooperation with the audits we conduct and their participation in the process of resolving any issues identified.
