Strengthening the Value Chain

As we face expanding geopolitical risks such as the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, we have been thrust into a VUCA* era where the world is in chaos, and anything could happen at any moment. From an early stage, we have promoted our full-scale globalization growth strategy and established a local procurement structure aimed at producing in areas of demand to minimize the impact of supply disruptions. While new sources of international friction may continue to arise in the future, we will work to strengthen our value chain using a diversified approach in order to provide our customers with a stable supply of products.
* VUCA: An acronym that describes difficult and unpredictable times of high uncertainty. It stands for volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
